Lynn D. Lieber, Esq., AWI-CH

lynnpic Lynn practiced employment law representing management during her first 13 years as an attorney, beginning her career in San Francisco in 1987 at Littler, Mendelson P.C., the renowned leader in the field of employment law. She later moved to Fisher & Phillips LLP, where she became an equity partner in 1995.

In the year 2000, Lynn left active law practice and founded Workplace Answers, Inc., a full-service employment law training company specializing in online training solutions. Under Lynn’s direction, Workplace Answers trained millions of employees around the globe in preventive employment practices.

Lynn sold Workplace Answers in 2010, and embarked on a new phase of her career. For the past 15 years, Lynn has been engaged in her true passion – working exclusively as an independent investigator in workplace investigations. Over that time, Lynn has investigated allegations of harassment, discrimination, and other workplace matters at hundreds of private and public entities. Lynn was an early member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), the leading professional organization for this practice area. She holds an AWI certificate recognizing her training as an independent workplace investigator. Lynn teaches at the AWI Institute, which educates and certifies other qualified investigators. She also has testified as an expert witness in cases where the quality of a workplace investigation is under review.

Lynn graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Pacific in California. She earned a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as the Technical Editor of the Computer and High Technology Law Journal.

Bob is a nationally recognized practitioner of employment and labor law with more than 50 years of experience representing employers and employees.

He has represented clients across a variety of industries including, broadcasting and communication companies,  high- and bio-technology and consulting firms, development and construction companies, and hotels and restaurants.

Bob has litigated extensively in both federal and California trial and appellate courts and has represented employers in arbitrations and administrative proceedings before the NLRB, EEOC, DFEH, DLSE, OFCCP, DOJ, DOL and other government agencies.

In addition to litigation, Bob advises employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, drafts and reviews employee handbooks, employment policies, job applications and employment contracts, reviews and advises on personnel actions, and audits employment and wage practices.

Bob also has represented employers and employees in the full gamut of employment issues, including executive employment agreements, layoff and termination issues, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour cases, whistle-blowing, and other employment-related matters.
